Information Governance Workshop

This workshop has been mapped against CQC standards, KSF Dimensions and is run by approved instructors in accordance with best practice guidelines.

Learning Outcomes

This course covers the laws, regulations and guidance on confidentiality, data protection, information sharing and security. By the end of this workshop learners will be able to identify definitions, principles, rights, exemptions and offences within the Data Protection Act, list key areas of Information security and sharing which relate to legislative and regulatory requirements, gain an understanding of the ethical and consent issues associated with Data Protection and to understand their interpretation in practice and their duty of care to enable them to commit to the principles of Data Protection & Caldicott requirements within the workplace.
